The Real Estate Training Academy was co-founded by Heather Seitz and Brandon Tankersley as a resource for investors at every level and in any niche. Through their strategic alliances with top-notch trainers, they are able to offer a broad base of courses, training and content. It was their goal when the Academy was created to be a place where members could select exactly what information they needed and get access to it on demand, rather than be forced to sift through thousands of pages of training and hundreds of hours of audio.

Heather has an extensive background in sales and marketing and is the co-author of Guerrilla Marketing for Real Estate, which is set to be released in 2008. While working in marketing with several startup companies, Heather began studying real estate and evaluating the investment opportunities. Very quickly, she realized the potential of investing in real estate and immediately started buying, fixing and fliping property, which was her main investment strategy for her first 5 years in the business. Since then, she’s also worked with lease options, straight rentals, seller held paper, etc.

Brandon comes from corporate America and has a solid background in sales and technology. In 2003, Brandon decided to buy back his time and left his job to become a full time Realtor(R), during which time he realized that investing in real estate afforded him more time and flexibility than traditional real estate sales. Since then, Brandon has been an active real estate agent and full time investor, and trains on topics such as negotiating, sales, and scripts.

The key to their success is creative marketing and strong negotiation strategies. Heather and Brandon work primarily with homeowners facing foreclosure, out of state owners, and individuals handling estates (probate). They also work with Realtors and investors, providing them with creative - out of the box strategies - for selling homes. With the changes that technology brings about, they are constantly testing new marketing media, evaluating results and developing marketing mixes that get the deals done!
